Amazing freshness, tasting a lot more Spatelese than Kab. Lots of still-pristine, but very concentrated white stone fruit, sweet Thai basil and Phô greens play together with this nougat-esque nutty quality. Jasmine-lemon custard. White tea jelly. Suggestions of cold-smoked meatiness abide, but are never aggressively realized. Zero botrytis. I wish everything from the 90s I tasted was half as pristine as this. Lord knows how aggressively it might have been sulphured, but if this is wrong, I don't want to be right. — 8 years ago
