Not a bad drop. Owners wife recommended this one in substitution for my favorite Redman. Pretty good through the entire bottle and gets better as you go. Still miss the Redman though. Little bit dryer. Non acidic. No indigestion. No alcohol punch just a smooth Jesus Juice. — 8 years ago

Didn't disappoint! This wine is beyond bold. It gives a quick peppery taste that is just a hint and finishes smooth and filling. Not an award winner at this show but is one that is ready to drink and bring a smile to the taster's mouth. I liked it and that's what counts. — 8 years ago

A little woody at first but irons out nicely after a half hour or so. 5 years after harvest maybe no surprise the fruit isn't at peak vibrancy, but still pretty good. Not much like a Pinot. Valle de Limari. — 7 years ago

Very enjoyable Cabernet from a top producer. Wanted to keep it for a few years but heard the dog barking and decided to let him out. Great aromas out of the bottle with blueberry, blackberry and sweet violets and lavender plus a distinct bubblegum essence. Tastes great after thirty minutes, very complex and a little savoury with blackcurrant, coffee and pepper. After 90 minutes it has developed lots of sweeter fruit and a collection of spices and is less dry on the palate. A top quality wine which is highly recommended. Rating is as of now but I have no doubt that this is a 9.7+ in a couple of years — 6 years ago
