The 2015 Cirò Rosso is a terrific expression of Gaglioppo. Crushed raspberry, cherry, sandalwood and dusty dried rose tones are found throughout. Soft and pliant upon entry, the Rosso turns zesty, with a reverberation of tart berry tension and tobacco toward the energetic close. $25.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2021) — 5 years ago
Super. Nicely balanced w stronger tannins. Nothing too complex. A weekday wine but very nice and pleasing. — 5 years ago

What a great wine. Dried flowers, dust, cranberries, tannic tea, blackberry. Good amount of tannin and tartness, great with food. Cuts through the fat. Impressed — 8 months ago
