This makes a very, very strong case for Valtellina. Primal and elegant, oxymoron be damned. The wild savoriness of the Northern Rhone with a side of Piedmont's pretty fruit. Maturity-wise, I'd be shocked if it has ever been better than this, but would also be pretty surprised if it gets any better than this. — 10 years ago

Nose is gorgeous. Beautifully floral.
Superbly clean. Light juicy cherry fruit. Hint of spice. not super complex or dense.
Almost like the best Bourgogne rouge ever. — 2 years ago
