Fragrant. Wild citrus. Reminds me of what the kitchen smells like when my Ma would peel mangos from our backyard garden in Florida.

A welcome, rounded wildflower and honey sweetness, balanced with a subtle kick of acidity to finish.

It’s pleasant. Reminds me of a writing retreat I went to up in the Green Mountain National Forest outside Middlebury, Vermont. Perfect for sipping while sitting in Adirondack chairs and taking in an errant, cool summer breeze.

@Trixie Trixie first time for us but won’t be the last. Picked it up after seeing it advertised during a hockey game then seeing that it’s produced in Canada was all I needed. Snowing today but when it warms up we’ll be enjoying this again.

This is an excellent Sauvignon Blanc -- the colder it is served, the better! This reminds of a pristine, shallow, Adirondack stream running over pebbles, their sharp edges worn down into smooth obsidian. Minerality, acidity, and just an overall feeling of the peace that follows a rough "time" (i.e. "presidency"). Makes me think about the future, more optimistically than usual. — 7 years ago
