Solid Malbec, heavy tannins, chewy up front, perfect pairing with pasta bolognese — 8 months ago
Deep inky Ruby color with complex aromas of berry fruits, floral and spicy nose. On the palate flavors, blueberry and cherry fruit with spicy herb, cacao, vanilla and toasty oak. Fine soft tannins, well balanced, good acidity, long finish, almost creamy, ending with fruit, spice and oak. Will continue to age a bit. — 2 months ago
A wine that teeters on the edge of new and old world and toes the line well. Fresh stone fruit aromas and pineapple scents that meld well with herbs and citrus peel. Quite a complex nose. Flavors run the gamut around vanilla and more tropical flavors with a hint of salt and strong minerality. Good structure and medium acidity. Medium finish. Definitely worth drinking on the warmer side. — 4 months ago
Excellent Malbec. Great dried fruit with a full finish. Nice steak wine. — 8 months ago
Inky inky purple like when I was a kid making grape kool-aid from packets of chemical plus pounds of sugar.
Smells promising- deep fruit, herb that is familiar but having a hard time identifying (maybe mint+sage?) and toasted oak.
Herbacious flavors come through along with cocoa bean and diner coffee. Good acid/tannin balance.
Not amazing, but the most enjoyable of the 3 Malbec I've tried this week.
