This is an excellent red blend for the price point. We drank this with grilled burgers, a grilled corn slaw and roasted banana fosters ice cream sundaes. Ty Caton makes great reds! — 2 months ago
Still a really nice wine after all these years. — 6 days ago
Wow. A great example of what it is.
Nose is mountain flowers with a kiss of mountain flower honey. The honey is not really perceptible. It adds depth. So fresh. As this opens the floral ty is just gorgeous.
Palate is gorgeous. Perfect balance. Fruit is like liquid flowers almost. Fruity but I can’t place the fruit. Quince? Like really well made 1e cru Chablis but mountainy. Very delicious but so pure. Julie Andrews in sound of music. A hint of minerality.
If this had more palate complexity it would rush into the elite category. For a “simple wine” this is as good as it gets.
Amazing change of pace wine.

Found this while rummaging in the cellar for a wine with leftover pot roast. What a find! A terrific pairing. A terrific wine, 37% Cab Sauv, 29% Petite Sirah, 29% Syrah, 5% Merlot. A masterpiece. — 18 days ago
C-19 neighborhood gift. Ty, H.N. Bold dark fruit when it hits the tongue followed by med/dry tannin. Delightful — 5 months ago
