Vintage 2016 | drank this a year ago and my opinion is the same: great balance because the wine has só much acidity that it gives counterplay to the sweet. The 2016 Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos has retained the somewhat adhesive bouquet that slightly obscures the fruit. It makes this Tokaji seem a little "distant". The palate is well-balanced and pretty, with marmalade and apricot notes. It's not dense, though it displays fine tension on the finish. Fine. (Neal Martin, Vinous, April 2024)
