Richard Lander Barossa Valley Shiraz 2008

Delectable this is the Colonial Estate Richard Lander Shiraz - not offered in your Database. Big ripe plum fruit with dark chocolate and blackberry - verging on raisiny. A nice rich full bodied fruit driven palate. The 108 year old vines save the day and prevent it from being a complete fruit bomb. Given to me as a business gift last Christmas and better than I was expecting. The next day it was rich, full bodied with a bit more spice - most enjoyable on a cold day. — 10 months ago

Brut Cava Blend

CA commencement 2020! Should have compared to the prosecco we also had but it was good! Not too sweet. Colonial Spirits had it as a recommend which is why I bought it. — 4 years ago

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2014

Garnet in color. Nose of black fruits, plums, leather, chocolate. Violets? Same on the palette, add anise and orange peel. Dark chocolate, bitter coffee and tar finish that I’m not sure if I like. Colonial Spirits. — 3 years ago

Gran Herencia La Blanco Mosto Verde Pisco

The most refined Pisco that I tasted in Peru, using it to make a Pisco Sour would be a waste. I had it poured over a single cube of ice and it was delicious. — 4 years ago

La Chatellenie Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Valentine's Day dinner with my Bahama mama at The Landing; a 200-year-old estate in Harbour Island's downtown. Originally the home of the island's first doctor, the colonial-style building served as Customs House and then a private club. It was built when Harbour Island was a ship building center. With the help of supermodel India Hicks, The Landing has been transformed into a charming 12-room boutique hotel with one of the hottest restaurants in town. — 3 years ago
