O Rosal Rias Baixas Albariño 2019

High-acid, clean, floral, cheerful, lemony. Nose redolent of flower pollen. Just the thing to brighten a Monday night. — a month ago

Rías Baixas Albariño Blend 2019

Too high in lemony citrus for my preference, but nice full acidity and minerality. The lemon dominated but makes for nice fish pairings. I enjoyed a glass with fresh limed guacamole and salty chips. — 4 months ago

Santiago na Ânfora do Rocim Alvarinho

This is an exquisite white. Very different style of alvarinho. Bright acidity, a good body and soft mouthfeel. It drinks more like a Chablis. I’ve rarely rated a white wine this high, let alone a vinho verde. If you find it, buy it. — 25 days ago

Emiliana Organic Vineyards

Coyam Los Robles Estate Red Blend 2013

2018 Coyam from Emiliano Los Robles Estate 150 km south of Santiago, Chile.
Organic and biodynamic practices by Alvaro Espinoza.
42% Syrah, 39% Carmenere, 6% Cab Sauv, 5%Garnacha, 3% Malbec, 3% Carignan, 1% Tempranillo and 1% Mourvèdre. Truly a field blend wine.
Ripe blueberries, blackberries and cherries on the nose with a hint of earth.
This wine is so smooth. Flavours of plums, dark fruit, fig and a hint of smokiness. Smooth tannins and a long finish. Put anything on the grill and enjoy this.
