Sybarite Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Outstanding value. This is acidic and tropical. Huge amount of flavor with some stone fruit, tart apple, not much grass at all, but well balanced. Margerum’s wines were some of my first in exploring SB terroir and this one reminds me of the excellence he had at wine cask. — 21 days ago

Riviera Santa Barbara County Rosé Blend

Wonderfully even. It’s like Jason Seagal in Freaks and Geeks: There’s an edge there, and it’s sentimental, so you like it, because it still has baby fat but is also kind of rock and roll. And has poignant clarity from grape peels. — a month ago

Very much enjoyed a glass/2 of this. The rest I gave to the wait staff.

Halter Ranch

Estate Bottled Adelaida District Grenache Blanc 2017

It was funny but I was debating whether to buy this wine or the Ridge #Grenacheblanc and when I looked at @Delectable Wine it would seem that the Ridge wine sources their fruit from these vineyards? The price was about $5 less for this wine and people seem to like it equally or more on Delectable. I enjoyed it. I tasted it side by side with the Margerum M5 Grenache Blanc blend and I personally prefer the Margerum which I found crunchier, more lively aromátics. I believe this wine should be drink in its youth, I didn’t see any room for positive development. — 4 months ago
