"this is a wine made from Portugal grapes, and poor, stony soils and in a continental climate characterized by wide temperature ranges. Composed of regional great varieties - predominantly the aragonez, sarah, and Torigo National, it reveals the typical character of its origin. It is intense with rich aromas, complex flavors and is an excellent partner to good food," — 18 days ago
Really enjoyed this wine. Had the 2020 reserva in November of 2023. Some currant and tobacco were there. Was fruity and acidic but the tannins on the end eliminated the acidity. Drinks surprisingly light for its color and bouquet. Paired with a Portuguese Madeira creamy chicken. Went really well with the cream and cheese. Would drink this one again in a heartbeat. — 25 days ago
I think @Josh Morgenthau really nailed this note: recently finished Taylor Fladgate 20 yr which was always a favorite, but I picked this up in Duty Free and was blown away. Similar notes & flavor profile as TF, but the mouthfeel really sets this apart & above. So elegant, so refined, such great tension & harmony - the defined acidity highlight & elevate intense flavors. Opened in FLA with family on Thanksgiving 2023. Decent after almost 30 years. Tastes young. Probably better in another 10 years. — 10 days ago
Wow. Stunning. Marvelous. — 2 days ago
Full bodied dark cherry w/ raisin & spicy notes finish. Wonderful!! — a month ago
Had the 2016 and it was quite impressive, the 2018 was similar - very generous and engaging nose, maybe lacked some cohesiveness on palate, so maybe check back in a year or 2. Still over-delivers for $11 — 2 months ago

One of the best wines we’ve had in a long time for under $20. — 11 days ago
