Ágyús Dűlő Kéknyelű 2018

One of the better wines I’ve had this year (delayed post from Dec ‘22) and a total surprise. From the Keknyelu grape planted in the volcanic hilly region on the north shore of Lake Balaton. Something between carricante and Silvaner. Smells and tastes intensely like wet basalt. Subtle hints of pineapple and stone fruit. Light. Lovely. — a year ago

Badacsony Kéknyelű

Superinteressant hvidvin. Grønne, letkrydrede smagsnoter, ikke mindst af stikkelsbær. Cremet tekstur — 3 years ago

Liked this! Unique - touch of smokiness - citrus, flowers, lovely balanced acidity — 5 years ago

Szászi Endre

Kéknyelü 2016

Old native variety from Badacsony, along the slopes of Lake Balaton in Western Hungary. Reminiscent of Somloi Juhfark - waxy, full, smoky, flinty. Some freshness despite the full bodied and savory character. Volcanic, like Somló. — 6 years ago
