Still drinking like a champ. Many years to go before mature. — 7 years ago
Would not have guessed 20+ year old wine. Still quite vibrant and has solid fruit. Good structure and tannin. Mellowed a bit but not a ton. Quite good. Delivers in my memory of this wine from 12 years ago. — a month ago
We had this on 3/25-26/18. A terrific Merlot with tastes of black cherry, plum, and chocolate. Fine silky tannins. — 7 years ago
One of my favorites. Big fan of spring mountain. Deep ruby color. Big nose! med body. Blue and black berries — 8 years ago
Clear ruby with wide edges and purple tints. All the creme de cassis and dark chocolate you want on the nose with some five spice. Unlike the rest of the Juslyn offerings, this is for right now. At first, it’s quite restrained and aloof but time in the decanter works wonders. Even in its youth, this is still approachable after some air. It’s pretty clear that there’s a few more years left before it all comes together but that beautiful mountain fruit is already shining. Boysenberry, white pepper, Junior Mints, and a bit of strawberry on the back end of the palate. Really nice structure here makes me wonder what this is going to be like in a few more years but right now it’s more than good enough. — 5 years ago

On 9/21/24, we had a horizontal tasting of 2015 Spring Mountain wines. All were ready to drink. All had tastes of blackberry, blueberry, cassis and cocoa. All were good. Juslyn was a little different and just a shade above the rest. — 15 days ago
