A Wagner family project now owned and run by Joe Wagner. Name refers to the floods that brought seismic change to the Willamette Valley a millennia ago. Ruby with fresh dark berry fruit aromas and some subtle spice notes. Rich blackberry and cherry flavors with cacao, spice and hints of earthiness. Lingering finish, full rich tannins, nice mouthfeel, ending with a smoky earth character. Tasting Sample. — 5 years ago

Excellent Oregon Rose, with a pleasing balance of fruit and acid. Nice and light, this wine doesn’t try to be more than it is. I could drink it all summer. Had the 2017 vintage, which still tasted fresh. — 4 years ago
Wow! Out of the last 7 or 8 new Pinot’s I’ve sampled this month...this is by far the BEST! Really a fantastic balance with robust aromas that figuratively punched me in the face upon drawing the glass to my face for the initial sip. This is a 2016. I will be making a return to my local wine shop to reload!!!! — 6 years ago

Really good, fruit-forward with earth Pinot. Much less good second night. — 4 months ago
