Fruity but dry — 4 months ago
Light bodied but bouquet is spicy almost curry-like, tastes intensely oaky, peppery, with leathery mouth feel, finishing with still some tannins despite 8 years in the bottle. Love this complex red — 5 months ago
V good. Smooth. Light. Joey only — 4 months ago
Puglia, the heal of the boot of Italy is not one of your more exhalted wine regions. But based on this wine it should be. Made from mostly Negromaro grapes, Massaria Li Veli has tons of deep stewed plums, cloves, nutmeg, and spice. Fantastic when young and could age for a while I am sure. — 7 months ago
2013 vintage. Very nice. Similar palette to a nice Rioja — 2 months ago
2020 was a good year for some things — 5 months ago
Salice Salentino is still one of my favourite areas in Italy for red wine. This one is and keeps a classic. The riserva is really a surplus on this one, making it have a clean complex full body aftertase. — 9 months ago

Nice. Leathery, but juicy. Good structure, medium acidity. Negroamaro, one of the nicer ones I’ve had. — 10 days ago
