Had at first dinner party post pandemic. Nice oily and musky overtone on top of hood acidity. A bit of pineapple. — a month ago
Got from horsemen wine club - tart and yeasty. Plummy? Nice — 6 months ago
Bright lime and sea spray erupt from the glass...richer, rounder, weightier than expected. Nice acid, touch of bitter grip to add some interest. Long complex finish ... nice foil for French Vietnamese takeout. I’m finding Italian dry whites are my jam. — 2 months ago
Indigenous variety from Campania (Campi Flegri, Vesuvio, Napoli area and the Sorrento peninsula). Traditionally blended with Aglianico to tame that grape, it’s produced as a varietal too. Soft overall mouthfeel with bright and integrated acidity; cherry, blackberry, floral notes (Violet? Lilac?) and an underlying herbal quality. M- body, M length, great QPR at 13€.
Pairing: baby greens, fresh figs, gorgonzola, almonds and pumpkin seeds, balsamic vinaigrette, focaccia on a warm summer evening 👍🏻 — 3 years ago
Great wine from Eduardo’s — 4 months ago
Ungrafted vines & lower alcohol levels allow you to enjoy the cherry and spicy cinnamon hints. The acidity brings a unique freshness while the tannins are subtle. This a very versatile table wine in pairing with salmon, pork tenderloin, pizza and great just to enjoy on its own. — 7 months ago
Lighter style for Falanghina, and so savory! Complex marine salinity, flinty, bright citrus notes carry through to a palate cleansing finish. — a year ago
