La Giareta Colli Berici Cabernet Franc 2016

Leather, robusta coffee and dark berry notes. Black pepper, chocolate, and boiled eggs(??!!) on the palate. I had a glass of this wine last night and I was fortunate to find the bottle today. I never thought of cab franc from Italy 🇮🇹. Good surprise. — 3 years ago

I can't say that I have had a Cab Franc from Italy, but when I am in the mood for one I tend to lean to Samaur or Chinon. 🇨🇵 vs 🇮🇹

This is a good competition. I would say that this one is won by the french.

Breganze Cabernet 2013

Deep ruby color-rich and chocolatey on the palate with dark current fruit and vibrant acidity. A great option for those who remember ‘Old School California’ Cabernet. Lunch @Ribalta with Angela Maculan. 2015 — 3 years ago
