Listan Red Blend

A chilled red on a perfect Arizona day, what more does one need?

This is a tart juice, cranberry with a lil strawberry sidekick. Perfect to drink by itself or with a meal. Held up with our pasta night!

Pistemutta Terre Siciliane Dry Nerello Mascalese Rosato 2023

Salty strawberry capri sun. Lemon, lime, cherries, a light herbaceous funk at the finish. Tomato peel, celery leaf. I would’ve guessed this was from Bichi in a blind tasting. Super super good. — 3 months ago

Lousas Parcela Seoane Mencía 2020

Excellent, expensive but excellent. So much going on. I swear there's an aroma of sea foam in it. Rich acid and deep almost smoky taste. The mencia really shines here. This is like a Bichi wine, but taken to the next level. I'd buy it all the time if it were cheaper. — 9 months ago

Azul el Héroe Grenache

I have been digging a lot of Mexican wines…What!? Yes, Mexican wines can be great. So far, I have started w/funky one’s and this 100% garnacha, does not disappoint. Had it w/deep fried, batter cauliflower sprinkle w/insects and a chapulín aioli… didn’t think it would hold, but it did. The wine needs be served chilled and needs to breather for a bit. I am too “happy” to get into the details of body, etc. but Let me tell you… It is a YASS! — a year ago
