She had dark hair and eyes with an unassuming smile. Slight of build and stature, she nonetheless moved with the surprising speed and grace of an athlete. When she struck me for the first time it took me completely by surprise. How could such a small woman impart such force? Fists, feet, and hair swirled madly before me. I felt I could lose myself in her accent and grace of only she'd stop hitting me. Before I knew it, I was completely overpowered, on my knees, begging her for my life. She told me the time for that has passed. Oh, why had I been such evil man?
"Please," I begged one more time "tell me your name so that may know who has defeated me so."
"Columbiana" she had a slight accent and placed an emphasis on the 'u'.
As her knife plunged down towards my chest I could only marvel at her perfectly shaped face. The thought that I could have been a better man for a woman like her tore through my mind as the knife your through my flesh. Before my vision faded I looked into her eyes and mother the words "I love you".
She laid her hand on my shoulder gently, as if to comfort me, but shoved me to the ground and walked away. — 7 years ago
Less than 56 cases produced. Tastes close to 100% Cabernet Sauvignon due to the amount of sweetness. Possible residual sugars. This is the special limited edition. Very inky dark in color. No bubbles. Very fruit forward. Moderate tannins. Prefer my Cabernet Sauvignon mixed with some Merlot grapes. Dark fruit scent such as dark cherries. — 6 years ago
Did I just drink a glass of wine or did I just have a romantic climax with the hottest person from high school everyone always had a crush on? This wine is sex in a bottle. — 6 years ago
I snuck aboard the space station and made my way to the holding cell where I was told the princess was being held. Upon breaking down the door, I was confronted by a short person in a diaper and odd headdress who said "I'm sorry, but the princess is in another death star".
About that time all the alarms in the space station started going off.
After some brief firefights I found myself cornered, my only escape to done down a shoot into a garbage compactor. So I did. Once in the trash compactor I met a friendly monster called a Dianoga. We shared a lovely bottle of Slow Press while the walls of the compactor slowly closed in on us.
Fortunately for me, I'm the hero of this tale and, as such, made a timely escape, rescued the princess (eventually), and managed to do it all without realizing I had spilled wine on myself. — 7 years ago
Drinkable alone but best suited with meal. A bit skunky (oxidation) and very earthy. Not my favorite Bordeaux blend but still quite solid. The tannins aren't heavy but fairly present. Rich currant flavor. Tastes older than it is. — 6 years ago
She sprints into the fog laddened forest. Her white gown floating behind and showing glimpses of her calves and delicate feet.
You follow in hopes of a glimpse of her face or a kiss from her lips. You come to a fork in the road. Which way did she go?
Her laughter floats through the crispy air. The pursuit continues. — 6 years ago
Tonight I stopped by the home of my friend, the Strong Man, who offered me a fine wine in a coffee mug - and why not? He was in a grand ol' mood because he had just got engaged to the Bearded Woman. He was planning to ask one of the Siamese Twins to be his best man (he wasn't fond of the other twin) and we laughed at the hijinks that would surely ensure. On the way out the door my friend handed me a ticket to the Freakshow - always a good time. — 7 years ago
A young man left home one day on the way to an admirable education. After graduating he was filled by a sense of purpose and drive to accomplishment. He seeked out a job that was as purposeful and ready for accomplishment as he was. Alas, no fulfilling job was forthcoming and he was forced to settle. This trend continued and he settled for a mate, settled for a white picket fence, two and a half kids, and a 3% match on his 401k. Before he knew it, he was a little overweight and too old to maintain his enthusiasm for life. At last he was settled into a grave after an uneventful life. This is how I feel about this wine - uneventful and not worth settling for. — 7 years ago

Definitely dark, inky, full bodied. Not one of my favorite Bordeaux blends. Aerate for at least an hour and pour into a carafe. There is a heavy alcohol taste until you aerate. Once that taste is gone, it is fruit forward. Dark berries such as blackberry. Not very structured. The tannins are soft. Some spices. Maybe black olives. Chemical, slightly pungent and oxidized. — 6 years ago
