Classic Napa stuff here with plenty of toasty vanilla and currant fruit on the nose, fine grain tannins with a soft, juicy entry. Plenty of fruit throughout. Great structure for laying down too I reckon. — 9 years ago

The nose on this wine was so beautiful. Dark fruit, game and pepper with a floral side. Lots if structure and too much fruit for me though when it hits the palate. Probably just a bit young to drink alone, although that's not what it's for anyways, so there's that.. — 9 years ago

Tasted the 2001 vintage today; quite a treat. Plenty of life to the wine still with tons of fruit. 10 years on the lees, and it definitely shows. Yum. — 9 years ago
