Truly a special share from an Italian guru! Deep rusty/earthy color. A bit of heat and brighter fruit 30 mins into decanting with the acidity coming down and the bouquet opening nicely after 60+ mins . Musty licorice, tar, fennel, and dried cherries, with a hint of oak - balanced longer finish of dark fruit and earth. AMAZING way to celebrate a stunning ride complete with 4300 ft of climbing, ha. Awesome weekend guys!
