Steinbeck Vineyard Syrah 2012
Smoked meat and bramble fruit nose. Dark chocolate cherries and sour black cranberry on the palate, which I also thought contributed nice acid (however, others disagreed on that point.) Tobacco and earth, as well. Fine tannins were a little grippy on the finish. Another win for Paso.
