Emilio Moro getting creative here, strong structure, nice dark leather and some herbal tones enveloped in licorice bouquet. Serious but fun, liked it. — 9 years ago
Surprisingly crisp for North African wine. Fragrant nose with some hints of pine, mid palate it lacks structure and character however, the aftertaste isn't memorable either, some grassy tones there. More of an outdoors pick nick starter. — 10 years ago
1986 vintage, boy what a treat! Very complex in all aspects, from the light floral impressions on the nose, to the taste explosion revealing notes of dried figs, almonds and walnut to the lengthy aftertaste with hints of honey and pistachio. A rich, thick and coating wine, pairs excellent with chocolate cake, which brings out its acidity. — 6 years ago
The Syrah in the blend adds some earthy, gamey, leather and spice notes to the aroma, an expression very reminiscent of the St. Joseph wines of northern Rhone. Medium to heavy body mouth feel and packed with dark cherry flavors and even some notes of haricot vert and mint. Medium long finish with the tannins balancing well with the coffee and red fruit after taste. A very polished style. — 7 years ago
Intense south Rhone wine full of licorice, herbs and floral tones. Well structured and full body, this wine can accompany any wild game dish in style. — 9 years ago
Very interesting and reasonably complex new world Cab. Nice leather, chocolate and spice bouquet, dark cherry tones on the palate, very decent length with spices re-emerging towards the end. Medium structure due to softened tannins and overall well balanced. One very pleasurable wine to have, would make a killer combination with braised short ribs. — 6 years ago
At this price point arguably the best Torrontes expression I've come across. Floral and citrus nose, broad mid palate with still sufficient acidity and some peach and even minty tones. The after taste however is the impressive part, boasting sufficient rose water and lychee impressions to challenge any self respecting Elzas Gewurtztraminer. Too bad for the hotness due to the high alcoholic content, and the bit of unpolished bitterness at the end, but again at that price point an impressive total package. — 9 years ago
Well crafted Californian Chardonnay, with a nice hint of smokiness, mineral tones and well balanced citrus fruit. Oak was applied with measure, resulting in refined vanilla hints in the mid palate and aftertaste. Can pair well with a wide range of foods, from seafood to white meat. — 9 years ago

Classical tones of tea, dark cherries and mocha in the nose. Medium heavy structure with a bit of sweetness in the finish, mixed with more mocha and chocolate. Very nice and refined. — 6 years ago
