San Pedro de Yacochuya Valle de Cafayate Torrontés

So floral and not at all one dimensional like most other Torrontes wines.

At this price point arguably the best Torrontes expression I've come across. Floral and citrus nose, broad mid palate with still sufficient acidity and some peach and even minty tones. The after taste however is the impressive part, boasting sufficient rose water and lychee impressions to challenge any self respecting Elzas Gewurtztraminer. Too bad for the hotness due to the high alcoholic content, and the bit of unpolished bitterness at the end, but again at that price point an impressive total package.
