Apricot honey slight funk and balancing bitter. Feel that +10 ABV at the end. Fine beer. Fine beer indeed — 10 years ago
Owner by Chanel and the second wine of the illustrious 2ème Grand Cru Classé Château Rauzan-Ségla, this wine is made for earlier drinking. Ripe and fragrant with black currant, damson, violet, cigar box. Softer tannins than most. Shorter finish — 10 years ago
Interesting California Chardonnay. Maybe I imagined this, but the wild yeast not only added some unusual aspects to this chards bouquet, it also seemed to marry the usual butteriness and heavy oak I usually don't like into something more palatable and interesting... to me anyway — 10 years ago
Just like you would Back in Österreich at some idyllic Heurigen this is a great wine for an outdoor picnic. Great with rich foods like charcuterie or just simple sausages. Bone dry. Some acidity. Very much your Monday through Friday kind of wine. Not pretentious, not complicated. Just use me to wash down your food and get a little buzz in return — 9 years ago
Almost equal blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Roussanne. Silky smooth white peach floral and light mineralogy. Verbena chamomile brisk-edged finish. Not big but pretty long and pure. Could stand some more time in the cellar — 10 years ago
A departure from the brioche breadiness of some of the Côte des Blancs' more famous grandes maisons. PG & F also sets itself apart due to the high percentage of old vines at their relatively small estate, in a region suffering from a plethora of young vineyards. Crisp clean refreshing fruit forward. Great expression of Blanc de Blancs perfect at the raw bar — 10 years ago
Great bang for your buck. One of those off the beaten pass kind of wines. Easy drinking. Well balanced. Nothing fancy, but for under $10 you would be hard pressed to find anything with as much integrity as this. Happy to see it at Whole Foods. — 9 years ago
Deliciously refreshing. A clean crisp Sour... great peach flavor - not too sweet. Bottle will be empty before you know it. Easy drinking on the lake — 10 years ago
Aged in old oak for 25yrs (bottled in 2012). Opaque black mahogany color. Tar, graphite, smoke, roasted coffee, dark chocolate and FIGS. Extremely concentrated dense and sweet ends really spicy with curry notes and stays there for a while. Great PX — 10 years ago
