Vibrant ruby red color with an inviting nose leads the drinker wanting to dive in for a sip. On initial taste, ripe fruit punch you in the mouth. Tannins are present, however the mouthfeel remains pleasant with a smooth elegant and erotic finish. I didn’t decant but will run some through the decanter as I think this young tight wine will flourish with a little time out of the bottle. Enjoy with beer stew, pork, or even a rich pasta sauce. — 7 years ago
A juicy, refreshing and pallet pleaser of a sav blanc from good old Marlborough! On the nose you have a lovely bouquet of citrus, Mellon and lemon grass. The mouth feel erupts with ripe great apple, and pear. Enjoy by itself on a warm summers eve or with some light fish, or roasted chicken with herbs. Drink up and enjoy. — 9 years ago
Dusty mouth feel with some dark deep sensual fruit on the pallet. Cheery and plum explode on the nose. Eating with a nice ribeye with some chimichurri. — 5 years ago

This wine just works! Works your mouth with a variety of intense aromas and flavors. A classic simplistic dinner wine for a rich meat pasta or maybe some chili or a thick juicy bone in pork chop!! Woooo! Firm tannins with nice toasted oak and some complex berry flavors. Drink it, kiss someone random and enjoy! — 9 years ago

A delightful drink on a warm summers eve under the stars with friends or with a romantic lover. A fantastic color with amazing mouth feel. Some dry fruit and acid notes mix well with a touch of sweetness. Pairs well with many foods, such as exotic cheese and luscious cured meats, or just drink it while cooking dinner and have a wild night to follow. — 7 years ago
A dandy of a wine for drinking with friends casually by a rustic campfire or on a chilly fall day. Bushels of berries ignites the pallet with a hint of oak and spice to finish it off. If your a fan a Tempranillo you will be pleasantly satisfied for a 4$ bottle. Go ahead and wet your whistle with this 4 buck chuck. Tell Gertrude at Trader Joe's I sent ya. — 9 years ago

Amazing 100% Tempranillo from Costco Wines. Ran the initial glass though my aerator and started off great. After about 40 min of sitting open it really opened up. Spice up your night with a sassy date night at home and get lucky later or enjoy by yourself with some steak or something juicy. Good body hers and the wine, smooth tannins and nice finish with a velvety mouth feel. a+ — 3 years ago
