Great flavored of black berries with a subtle vanilla undertone. Tannins are smooth and velvety. This is my classic go to Red Blend from Napa Valley — 9 years ago
This Pinot impressed me with its ripeness of strawberry followed by an apple spice. I wasn't expecting that at all and felt it was complex and bold for a $26.99 in PA. Aromatics consisted of raspberry too......all in all, not to shabby :-) — 9 years ago
Great Burgundy unfiltered style Pinot Noir from Eola-Amity Hills. Had this with Filet Mignon.....body was lush with full of fruit. — 9 years ago
Rich, smooth and lots of coffee and chocolate. Body is smooth, lush, full with great weight. This is my favorite Syrah for under $20. — 9 years ago
In PA this was a chairman reduction @ $24.99 from $32.99. I had to pull the trigger for this NV Grand Cru Brut Champagne. Subtle yeast on the aromatics but tart apples really make this enjoyable. Bubbles are refined and along with the finish. Great alternative to Cliquot — 9 years ago
Liked but not loved by me. Prefer Sonoma Coast Pinot( La Crema or Au Contraire) at this price point in PA @ $22.99. Spice and Cherry, maybe Strawberry.....not bad for entry level — 9 years ago
Saw this in PA as a luxury red clearance sale @ $6.99! Best value buy I have ever made!! 100% hand picked Monastrell aka Mouvedre. Tons of spice and currants. Tannins are noticeable but that's ok as the hearty cheese took care of that. Pleasant surprise for sure! — 9 years ago
Wild berries, spice and plum. Medium body with a nice semi tart finish. — 9 years ago
I think 88 pts bodes well for this. Not your overwhelming Napa but smooth medium weight for a Sonoma type style. Tannins are silky as described, extremely supple. Fruit was just right which created a nice balance with the tannins. Maybe I am underscoring this........89/90 ?? You be the judge — 9 years ago
