I’m happy with this wine. I typically look to Australia for Shiraz but I have to say the Yellow-Tail cab-sauv is nice vibrant, velvety, and smooth yet a bit acidic. Tart blackcurrant berries and spicy, coffee? The finish is BlackBerry, and long. I enjoyed this wine. Will do it again. — 5 years ago

Very smooth fruity and sweet with low tannins. Was enjoyable with spicy lamb chops. Not much aftertaste which is strange for a cabby-sauv I really liked this wine, was sweet with food. Very nice! — 7 years ago

Naked: Smooth and not as dry as others from this region. Nose has a hint tabaco, finish is jammy black currant and blackberry.
Paired with steak: here the tannins are more pronounced. The wine is sweeter with food. Makes that berry taste pop. Again not as dry as others from this region. This wine cleanses the palate very well — 4 years ago

Well it’s an ok wine for a VQA Niagara wine. You know I don’t give enough props to my neighborhood wine makers. I would keep it on hand and share with just ok friends... just kidding it’s a good wine. Not a Great wine, haha, but decent. Alone was a bit sharp. But with food, salty Italian food, with olive oil, it’s fruity, darker berry complexity. On thé palette it’s jammy with black berry or black current. The finish is tart and flavourful, hits the back of the tongue. I like it. — 4 years ago
