When I first drank this in 2012 there was a noticeable menthol quality that overpowered the earthiness....this is what attracted me to this wine. Now in 2014, on the cusp of 2015, that quality is gone. Now, I find a minerality that makes this beautiful Rioja unique. — 10 years ago
