1980...más vieja que yo. Increíblemente vivo, aromático y expresivo. Descorchado como Dios lo manda: con la familia. #welovewine — 10 years ago
Termanthia’s younger brother. Monster wine. Intense. Dark plum, dark cherry, blackberry, spice, smoky and meaty, espresso notes, cocoa, black pepper. Fleshy and firm tannins, though well-integrated. Nice acidity, keeps it balanced. Looooong lasting finish. Still very young, but quite approachable. Started out a bit “tight”, but opened up beautifully after a 3-hour decant. This wine has enough backbone to last at least 15+ years. #Termes #Numanthia #Toro #Spain 🇪🇸🍷 — 6 years ago

Old school, Old World, Traditional, Rustic style Rioja. Dried dark cherry, plum, old leather, black olive, Balsamic notes, chocolate, SMOKE n’ toasty, forrest floor, earthy-mineral something, “Huele a tierra mojada”, a hint of a funky “Grandma’s closet” - but in a good way, dried rose petals...at least 16 years bottled but singing like a canary from the moment I uncorked it and poured it into the glass (absolutely no decanting needed), incredibly expressive and perfumed, silky silky tannins, nice old-school-Rioja acidity, long and delicious finish. 19 years old and it is clearly peeking...go get some #Lat42 #Rioja #Spain #Partylikeits1999 🇪🇸🍷 — 6 years ago
