Refreshing, overwhelming smell of petrichor, like fresh rain, on deep black soil. Deep ruby red color, cloudy, high viscosity. No gas, no sediment.

Blackberry, black currant. Very sweet. Very jammy. Low tannin, low acidity, low alcohol content. Zero/non-present finish. Black currant flavor absolutely dominates flavor profile. Young, temperature climate, for sure. — 7 years ago

Out of this world. Extremely smooth and balanced with a short finish, full bodied, beautiful garnet with shades of orange like a heritage wine. Maraschino cherry, dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, definite hints of oak. This makes me cry inside and wish I lived in Italy. It's not a drink, it's an experience. Wow. Wow... Wow. — 7 years ago

Opaque, nearly black. Smells of ancient, wet, rainy oak and stables, evoking images of antebellum England. Rain, rain, lots of rain. Must have been a very wet year. High sulphur-nitrogen nose. Medium-low viscosity. Bitter, sharp, dry taste. High alcohol content. Tinny spoiled grape aftertaste. Tastes like a few wines blended or mixed together. Not for me. — 7 years ago

Oh my lord. What an extremely balanced, smooth wine. The aroma/nose is perfect, youthful fruits and berries, oak; but the taste is where it's really at. Sublime, smooth, nothing prominent, nothing hidden, all of them sitting in a equal row, like an extremely high end pair of headphones, nearly clinical. High alcohol content, low viscosity, translucent ruby color, presence of gas. What an absolutely incredible wine -- and it's from California!!! — 7 years ago

Bitter, sweet, earthly flavors with a short finish. Medium acidity. High alcohol. Fake oak dominates flavor profile.
