Just very nice. Smooth, round. Some acidity and balance. Not a California caricature of a meritage. Good price at $33 retail for this quality. Just bought/shipped home 4 bottles! I can picture it with a burger or bolognese sauce with equal enthusiasm. — 9 years ago
Punches way above its weight class. Refreshing acidity. Bright fruit. Earth foundation. A very happy chianti, one of the best at this price point. — 10 years ago
Hot damn. Best wine for the dollar (euro) in the past two years. Here in cortina, eating hand made pasta and pizza, and this blew me away. Paired with the output of a wood fired oven by a Neapolitan pizzailo, really it's about the simple pleasures. I have had $400 red burgundy' but this 30 euro bottle kicks some serious ass, pound for pound. — 8 years ago

This was very interesting. Sweet but lots of acidity. Had it in Tuscany on a dream quality day early summer day. Need to find it again. Not sure if even the mighty delectable can fid it. — 9 years ago
Just paired with some homemade ravioli. Bracing freshness and acidity, sliced right through the ricotta stuffing and the lovely fresh dough. This is a great light to medium bodied wine. Makes you appreciate how clumsy and ham fisted California wines are. This is like a well dressed, be-suited milanese walked by a plaid shirt wearing, Birkenstock shod, California native. You only realize how poorly the California dresses when next to the Milanese. The difference is huge. This is a great food wine, period. 2013 is a little young, yet still lovely with the ravs. — 9 years ago
Nice. Smooth round finish. Just paired with a steak in Shanghai and it was lovely. — 9 years ago

Just smooth and lovely and balanced. Surprisingly bright and balanced fruit. I just had an excellent meritage from Washington, and then pivoted to this. While the washington was one of its finest Meritage blends from Delille, there is a reason Bordeaux is Bordeaux. Props to the french. — 7 years ago
