Somewhat rustic and funky, nice minerality, pretty dark in color but brighter in taste on the palette than expected. Screams "big boy" on the nose but the finish is surprisingly delicate. The tannins are there, but delightfully balanced and never overpowering. I love aglianico. I love this wine.
