Reasonable legs. Clarity is dull. Bouquet is muted and difficult to tell the grape to my amateur nose. Plum (and it’s softness) but with a little dark cherry. Nice medium to long finish that stays true with a hint of spice. A little too sweet for me (but not overwhelming) with enough balance to be a nice wine with lamb and beef. — 6 years ago
Dark ruby, with long legs. Richer than expected bouquet. Warm and complex first taste that has a long but surprisingly dry finish. I poured straight from the bottle but next time, I would let it breathe for 30-60 minutes. (Tasted really good just poured from the bottle.) — 7 years ago
Really fantastic Italian blend. Immediate bouquet with long legs. The taste of a sip lasts minutes with cherry but then there is smoothness of the Cabernet grape. Received as a gift but would look to give as a gift. Wonderful wine. Had with an aromatic Pasta a Ceci... and it was an excellent wine-pasta combo. — 7 years ago
Pretty, dark cherry color. Little in terms of legs. Bouquet is somewhat restricted. Clear fruit with nice acid balance in the mouth and palate and is typical Chianti Classico. A little musty at first and would benefit from being open to air for a while. Very nice wine and would definitely have again. — 7 years ago

An interesting wine. Bouquet was forward with cedar and strawberry. Legs were slow to come down. A 2014 vintage but already a mature wine. The flavor was ‘strawberry pie’ (a gentle sweet but not acidic). The taste on the palate is long and stable; still tasting the taste minutes after the last sip. One reviewer mentioned ‘weird’ and I would agree but it may me pause and carefully consider the taste and aroma together. We’re sipping at this time, but this would do well with almost any tomato based pasta/Italian meat dish. Likely too strong for cream based dishes or fish dishes. This was very interesting and would definitely have again. — 6 years ago
