Nice citrus on the nose, without the grapefruit. Pleasing taste with weakened citrus, very little mineral to the taste-typical of Loire, with a smooth finish. — 7 years ago
Nice on the nose, with good cherry and currants. Not too acidic, but still a little much for my preference. The taste was good, bordering on pleasing, but for the price, there are much better wines from Oregon. — 7 years ago
This is a Burgundy that needs to breathe, as both the nose and the taste expand exponentially over time. At first taste I was not impressed. While the initial nose was pleasing, I thought it was only average. I was distracted by other things and came back to it about 30 minutes later. The difference was nothing short of amazing; complex cherry, currants and dark chocolate wafted through my nose and it was both smooth and delicious. Zero aftertaste with a good balance between tannins and acidity. — 7 years ago
Nice cherry and chocolate on the nose, with complexity. Deep crimson color, but too much acid on the tongue that leaves a sting for aftertaste. The 2014 vintage was one of the best, but this bottle was disappointing. — 7 years ago

While there is nice fruit of cherry and cranberry on the nose, it is not overpowering, but pleasant. More tannins to the taste as it rolls down the tongue. I would buy it again.
