Bodegas Del Rosario
Tesoro de Bullas Monastrell
I think people miss the purpose of this wine when buying it. It may be a fruit forward style of wine, but it shouldn't be confused with a wine not meant for food. It has a fragrant nose of dried violets, dried provencal herbs, and mulled dark berries. The pallet is medium in feel and medium plus in acidity, tart casis fruit, black peppercorn, and a light finish. Pairs well with smoked salmon tartines, or brisket. For a 2009 it has a great balance.

Dec 11th, 2016This wine is a perfect pairing with a spicy sausage and cabbage salad. We love the nose and fruit forward taste of this 100% Monastrell variety grape. Very under-rated Spanish wine!
