Blown away by this one. Let it open for an hour. Garnet colored with a nose heavy on vanilla, cherry, raisin, clove, star anise. Very dry with some warm tobacco, earth, and game backed with cassis. Moderate tannins that work well within the wine. Medium-bodied, moderate finish. — 3 years ago

Light ruby color. Intense vanilla on the nose with just a little carrot, clove, and allspice. Light body with more vanilla, cherry, and some unexpected but not unpleasant wood smoke reminiscent of a BBQ on the finish. — 4 years ago

M- body, surprisingly heavy oak with vanilla, plum, and more cherry. Lingering finish with more oak, leather, and medium tannin. — 4 years ago

Yeasty bread, fresh earth, and mushroom on the nose. Medium bodied, but full for a Pinot Noir. Medium + acidity to balance reasonable sweetness. Game meat and smoke against dates and figs. Lingers with a lot more tannin than expected and extended smoke for the finish. Lots of complexity. — 4 years ago
