Bussia Barolo Nebbiolo 2003
I keep hearing how poor 03 was for Barolo but this bottle would prove that false. Age is easy to spot with the rusty color, nice fruits, tea, earth. Medium acidity, decent concentration and solid length. You'd be hard pressed to find a better 25 dollar nebbiolo. Think this one will hold on for a few more years, but I would drink up now. — 10 years ago

I'm super impressed with this effort. Beautiful layers on the nose. Tart entrance into a gorgeous pinot fruit, nice acidity and medium tannins. Long finish. I bet this one will cellar well. Much more burgundy style and not your cola cherry bomb. My style . Love. — 10 years ago
