Amazingly sweet spiced peach on the palate. Dry and beautifully oaked long finish. This wine is immaculate. The perfect balance of flint and body. 50% French barrique ferment. Drink now. It's ready to go! — 10 years ago

Ad Hoc are doing such exciting stuff! Smooth, restrained oak in an old world style. Still has a well balanced minerality on the finish. Flint on the palate makes it great for summer. — 10 years ago
Still deciding.... mouth pucker that may benefit from further cellaring. Tannins are more coarse than expected for the age. 2007 — 10 years ago
100% Syrah
Fleshy, black fruit and leather on the nose.
Beautifully big mouth feel for a Rhone Valley wine, but maintains a refined French style with great structure and tight, dry tannins to finish.
So happy with this wine. Amazing value and especially attractive to try,
for someone who's keen on experimenting away from our Australian Shiraz. — 10 years ago
So sweet on the nose... Strawberries and cherry come through, but changes to a sophisticated, savoury palate. Tight, retrained tannins and a long finish. Could possibly have kept it for another year, but brilliant with grilled chicken and light salad. — 10 years ago
A quirky absence of fruit but don't freak out! It's replaced with the most unusual touch of almond and maybe a slight fault that adds some great interest. Exciting, unusual, refreshingly different! — 10 years ago
Yet to drink but keen on users feedback around time frame to drink/cellar — 10 years ago

Still really early to drink this one. Wound up tight tannins that took more than 2 hours to open up. Even still, it would have been best in another 5 years. Chewy mouth feel with volatile acid on the nose that is still pleasing to the palate. Wait longer to open. — 9 years ago
