Light straw in color.
Strong nose of citrus, lemons, apples, oak, vanilla and white pepper.
Medium plus in body, with medium acidity, buttery and creamy with soft legs.
Dry on the palate with citrus, green apples, lemons, melons, grapefruits and white pepper.
Short finish with bitter almonds.
This is a nice Pinot Grigio from Italy. Balanced and simple, but feels more like a light California Chardonnay with all that oak and cream. A little bitter on the ending which I did not like.
This is probably my first oaky Pinot Grigio. Interesting.
