Nose is neutral. Mineral and complex. Really lovely aromas. Palate is low acid and ripe. Neutral and ok. Needs to be colder. But not awful.

Incorrectly listed as just “xynisteri”… good solid single vineyard wine, lots of minerals and acid. Clean and quite good.

Drinking a 2015 at a fabulous Cypriot Restuarant.
Lovely full finish, light nose very much early taste with a pleasant blackberry aftertaste.

Actually this is a 2008 Xinisteri (ksi- ni- sté - ti). A friend brought it over late afternoon to taste it. It had a dried floral brush of terpene nose, on the palate minerals and again a brush of petrol, not a negative thing though, chalky and a touch of sherry-ish. Not sure where was kept. Slightly short finish. I could happily drinking it. It was sentimental to taste 6 year old Xinisteri. 6 years ago we were all thinking Xinisteri is good for 6 months a few pushing 9 months.
