Found it to be too sweet for my liking. If you like super jammy, fruit bombs this might be a wine for you.

Syrupy sweet and all over the place. Like cough syrup at midpoint and only slightly redeemed by the lingering ending. Not for me, indeed. I’ll leave it in decanter for another hour but not hopeful.

Needs a little time to breathe. Earthy and serviceable.

It is definitely a Cab. Not spectacular but not forgettable either and maybe that’s its strength. This wine will pair well with most anything. It is balanced. Does not overwhelm food like some Cabs do yet has a solid taste that stands up to and compliments other strong flavors. I will buy it again. 2016 vintage.
