Feb 25th, 2020WINC Subscription bottle — Dark stewed plum, black cherry, & leather on the nose. Oddly funky, earthy front. Notes of peppered plum, blackberry, & boysenberry. Dry, leathery finish. Medium acidity. Alcohol hides well. Not a bad WINC bottle.

On first taste out of the bottle I didn’t live this. I felt like there was a bitter cherry taste. But I decanted it and let it open and became wonderful and smooth. Better with food than maybe a drink on its own for me.
