Yering Station
Yarra Valley Heathcote Shiraz Viognier Blend
200 Chard. Mmm tasty, opens & fills out a lot with air. Subtle oak n smoke, good acidity, maybe a tad over the hill & floppy but lots of aged-Burgundian interest...

Feb 4th, 2016Took some time to open up but became delicious. Lots of fruit but not sweet. The splash of viognier softened the Syrah a bit.

Feb 15th, 2024Lots of black fruits, plus vanilla, dark chocolate, and mesquite smoke. Ripe, rich, round, and concentrated, but amazingly still fresh. Delicious for $20 on Wine Spies. Cheers!

Apr 20th, 2014Amazingly good, for its price, is the bright clear crimson '08 Yering Station Shiraz/Viognier. It exhibits a fragrant floral bouquet of violet, allspice and red fruit. It's intense structure is evident in the juicy palate that has polished tannins and a lively finish.
