This is a tasty Syrah from the south of Israel. Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

Dark purple in color with a purplish rim.

Full bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate and fruit forward.

Showing black fruits with oak, licorice, spices, tobacco, coffee and earth.

Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

A new world Syrah in style. Nice and engaging.

I've had a few different vintages of this wine, and the blend changes through the vintages.

A blend of 77% Syrah, 16% Tannant and 7% Malbec. Aged in large oak barrels for 12 months. Kosher and not Mevushal.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$45.

Yatir winery.
Yatir Creek 2015, a blend of Syrah, Tanant and Malbec. An interesting blend based on Syrah. Thick, purple color. Cherries and plum hints on the nose. Balanced, tanins already soft. Was a good companion to the wintery lunch we had.
