Black tea, dry red fruits and edgy tannins. Lovely classic Pinot character.

Mar 12th, 2017Closed at first, but started to really open up aromatically after about 45 min. Aromas of raspberries, dried rose petals and red plum, with notes of earth, soy sauce, black tea (as has been previously noted) and cardamom. Bright red fruit flavors, and again, displays earth and mushroom 🍄 and spice characteristics. Good balance of acid, tannin, and alcohol (13.5% abv), silky mouthfeel, medium plus length. Love Anderson Valley Pinot!
