Mid crimson in colour. Beetroot and dusty cherry notes - loam and root vegetable aromas generally. Lovely bright pristine red fruits on the palate with a savoury twist. Rather contained on the first night but opened up on the second night to reveal a delicious balanced Pinot of M+ Intensity. Easily of Premier Cru quality. Loved it.

Bright crimson in colour. Tarry tertiary aromas ie Savoury over fruit. Palate is light to medium bodied with medium plus intensity. Sweet compared to the Bell Hill had the night before. 80% whole bunch ferment (stalkiness) is in balance with the high quality Pinot fruits. Drinking at its peak. The winner of the Jimmy Watson Trophy In 2013 at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show for the best One Year old Dry Red In somewhat controversial circumstances over the Giant Steps entry.

A good cross between Old World and New World Pinot Noir having the earthy stalkiness of the old with the plum, Cherry fruit of the new. Very enjoyable.

Initially showing VA notes. Ok after some time in glass but not awesome.

Hands down best Aussie Pinot. Rich plum and red cherries, outstanding palate backed by good tannins and lingering length.

This wine was horrible! Was very closed and had a bit of heat on the back of the throat... Did not improve much with decanting.. Just flat, not much on the nose, a nice menthol taste and aroma, expected more.
