This was a nice red blend. Fairly light but also very easy to drink.

Let's just say for $5 you could probably do worse, that being said it still wasn't great. I will write the review in the "this is what $5 got you" mind set.
I let it open up for a while hoping to get the slight alcohol smell out of the way...it eventually subsided and I could get some fruit on the nose. It was a dark red color with soft Ruby edges, and the taste was extremely light. Bottle says cherry, black currant, green pepper, liquorice, and spices. I definitely got the cherry on most sips and usually a hint of spice. Every sip took effort to find the flavor. It served its purpose while watching football, certainly a drinkable budget friendly wine. I would not recommend serving it with any food as it doesn't have a strong enough flavor to compliment any.. For $5 you won't hate yourself for buying it.
