Wow… this is really good on Night 2, especially for the price (like $24, I think). It’s got a blackberry, peppery/leathery deal going on. But huge difference after it opens up, as was like an 8.3 last night.

Discovered a 2001 in my sister-in-law’s parent’s cupboard. Tastes great! Dark cherries, cloves, sort of a pleasant dusty finish.

Reckon I paid $10 for this a bunch of years ago. This one is singing right now. Tight core of concentrated black fruit that's gradually opening up. Black currant. Anise. Cloves. Great tannins. It's dark and brooding and delicious. Much better than the last one I opened. Reckon it'll be even better tomorrow.
